Hello there! The other day we had game presentations. We presented our game demo to the nice people from New York. My team and I are working really hard to get our game done! I think all of the other teams did great during there presentations. :D We are making progress with our game. I really hope it turns out how we want it to! I think I've had a good time in this class this year but I will never take another class like this. I've learnt a lot about coding this year and game design. Well I hope our final game Presentations go well. (:

So our game is coming along great, I guess. This year i've learnt a lot. I would like to tell anyone coming to this class, to dont do it! It put so much more stress on top of the stress you already have. I guess if you can deal with stress then you can deal with this class. You have to have good grades. It's fun but the stress gets to you. Well anyways back to the game part. Our game is gonna turn out great, I hope! (: I guess all we can do is hope for the best. I've learnt a lot about coding this year and I must say i've become very good at it.

So this year has been pretty good. Most of all it's been hard getting our game together and trying to keep up with who's doing what. My team mates have helped me so much this year and our game is turning out pretty great! Our game is about Michael Jackson, this game helps kids learn division. All we really have to do to finish our game is put all the levels together, then add a few more things to it. I hope everyone likes our game!

So the year is almost over and that means it's getting close to presenting our game. This year has been a good one and I've leanred a lot through flash. Our game is coming along great! I can't wait to see how our game turns out and see how everybody likes our game. The special effects we will be using in our game is sutff like exploding text. The best part of our game will probably be the end of it when you get to watch the music video. Yep, Yep, Yep! :D

I really don't see anything we could use from them. I like some of their game ideas but some I think could use a little work. I would tell them they could put other things on their tema pages instead of the same thing over and over. I like the game about the tractor, I think that game would be fun! I think after looking at their games I would want to make my game more fun and colorful like theirs.

So the past Monday we did our presentaions. The hardest thing about our presentation for me was talking in front of all those people but it turned out really great! The good part was that I did good and didn't mess up, like I thought I would. The feedback we got was pretty good and they gave us some more ideas for our game and I feel like our game is going to turn out really great! (: Our game is going to be a little different from what we thought it was going to be like. I think our game is going to turn out great no matter how the end turns out. I had fun doing the presentations and I hope the next time we do a presentation I will do good then too!

Gahhh; I miss him so much. He was always so happy. He was an amazing guy and he could always make you laugh, no matter what. But.... now he's in a better place watching over us. He was a very bubbly person and was a very great friend! He was so great at what he did. I bet he's playing basketball or football right now! (: He will be missed badly and never forgotten.

Yesterday was the saddest day of my entire life, one of my good friends passed on. I loved him very much! He was a great friend and didn't deserve to die the way he did. When I first heard the news that he had passed I didn't want to believe it. I've cried so much and every-time a door opens my hopes get so high but then I see it's not him and I just want to crawl in a corner and cry forever. It just doesn't seem possible that he's dead. It's just so un-real. I wish I could've told him goodbye, but sadly I didn't get to. I know for a fact that everyone including me will miss him a whole lot. He loved sports especially football and basketball and he was really good at those sports too. He always made people smile and laugh all the time! He was a great guy and any girl was lucky to have him. Now all I have to say is that I love him and I will miss him. R.I.P. Jordan Wayne Mcclanahan.

I think Math can be fun and games. (: You can always do a little something like if you get a problem right get to play a game or something. Teachers can let us play math games, make problems out of something we understand to make math more interesting. Here are some links to fun math sites: Fun brain, Math is fun, and Math PlayGround. These sites are fun but educational. These sites help you learn more but have fun at the same time!

In my game we could use ideas like divison problems, multiplication, fractions, etc.I think games will help math motivation. It will make kids want to learn math in a fun way by playing a math game. My favorite game I played yesterday was none of them because it wouldn't let me play any of the games :(. That made me really sad. I didn't learn anything because I didn't get to play the game but I bet I would've learn something if I could've played the game.

When I grow up I want to be a photographer. I caught an intrest in photography about a year ago. I think it's so amzing, and the beauty in nature that you catch on camera is wonderfull. I think that I like to take pictures of nature more than anything else, because I think nature is beautiful. Photography has become a big part of my life, I don't think i'll ever give up on it. My photopraphy is imporving and one day people are going to ask me to take pictures at their wedding. Becoming a photographer would really make me happy and I would love to have my pictures hanging up in people's homes all over the country. So now you know what I want to be when I grow up.

Working With Adding Navigation.

Working with adding navigation was fun but hard. We worked on making buttons and adding them to our game scenes. It was a little bit hard but I managed to get through it. Our game is going great especially when we added navigation. I had a little bit of fun but not really. I think that when we get done with putting navigation on our game scenes that our game will turn out great!

My experiences in Globaloria have been great! I have learned how to make buttons in flash and all kinds of different stuff. I like globaloria because it have many different aspects and I like it. I have learned how to make things move in flash, make things eat things. (: haha; I've also learned about team work and how important it is when you're doing something like this. I can really say that this is the most fun class ever!

I think that flash is very fun and you learn a lot fomr it. I learned that you can do many things in globaloria. You can mkae buttons, make things flash different colors! I like how you can make different shapes and color them in. I made MJ in flash but it didn't really look like him. :( Flash is fun but hard to understnad. There are lots of codes to do different things like to make things move up and down. I think thta some people could do great things with flash, like me! (: I really like flash and you can make a rainbow in flash too!

I am part of team Thriller. I play the role of the coder. I don't think i'm that good at the job, but I can learn. I don't have any diagreements with my teammates. I look forward to making our game, because I'm ready to see how it turns out and how we do on it. The inspiration to our game was Michael Jackson, we couldn't use his name, because it's copy righted so we used MJ. Michael Jackson is like my hero, even though they said that he did bad stuff to kids. He really didn't do anything to those kids and the reason why he made that park thing is becuase he didn't what little kids to have a bad childhood like him. All Michael wanted was to help the world, nothing more.

Video games are okay but I never really play them. The only educational game I've ever played is the games on studyisland. I don't remember anything I really learned on studyisland. I know it helped me with my work and help me understand math better. Yes, I think games can create a learning atmosphere. It can be fun and help kids learn. I think that kids would like educational games. The makers of games could make games that are fun and educational, but they deciede to make stupid games about war and aliens, etc.

Globaloria has been great so far. I like Globaloria, it is kinda fascinating. I've learned how to use flash and make a carrot move. Well in Playing to Learn we played games and then wrote about them. When I chose my topic i wanted ofr my game I chose fractions. I played games like Teenage pregnancy, The coast of life those were the ones I played the most and my favorite out of those two was Teenage Pregnancy.

It is important for us to know what kind of people are on the internet and that they can be bad people. We also need to know that we need to keep some things about ourselves private so people don't stalk us and try to come find our where we live. We are making ourself pretty safe on here as far as I know. The internet is very dangerous and it's also safe too. You can make it Dangerous but you can make it safe, it's up to you. I think that everyone should make the internet safe because we don't want anything to happen to us. People can find out where you live and come kidnap you or do something bad to you and we don't want that to happen.

I don't really like math. I don't like it because it's sorta boring. If they'd spice math up a little, it would be fun. If I had to pick my favorite lessson in math I would pick the lesson on scientific notation. My least favorite lesson in math is P.E.M.D.A.S. I don't like it because if you don't do it in order you don't get the right answer. Math is one of those subject that most kids don't like but if they added a little something to make it fun then maybe some of the kids would like math class.

Save The Planet!!!!!

Today we made our blog and finished editing our wiki pages. I'm very excited to be in Globaloria making a game. I want my superhero to be super Barbie. I'm going to try my hardest in this class and when ever there is trouble Super Barbie will be there to save the day. I'm so happy that I get to make a game! I would like to create a game were Super Barbie saves the world from Air pollution. I'm most scared about failing this class and not being able to take the challenges.

This is a taste of what we will do in Globaloria class. Last year's class did a game on global warming and here's a video to show you how they did it.
